Jessica Shaver is a free-lance writer living in Long Beach, California. Her first book, published when she was fourteen, was extracted from a journal she kept during her journey aboard Phoenix, a boat her father built and sailed in protest of nuclear proliferation. Currently, she has a novel in progress.
